Air Fryer Onion Rings
Extra-crispy ranch-seasoned onion rings with a double dredge and oiled panko. No deep fryer required.
Toasting nuts in the air fryer takes minutes and brings out more flavor than a big oven for a small batch. Toss raw pecans and almonds with melted butter, honey, cayenne and salt, then roast at 300°F with a shake halfway through. Cool completely before storing—they crisp as they reach room temperature.

Nuts scorch fast at high heat. A lower temperature gives even toasting without burning the honey glaze.
A shake at five minutes keeps the nuts from sticking together and roasts every side evenly.
Warm glazed nuts trap steam in a jar and soften. Spread on a sheet until fully cool.
