Crispy Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries
Thin sweet potato fries coated in egg white for a crisp shell. Salt, garlic and about 15 minutes in the basket.
Breaded mushrooms without a deep fryer. Whole button mushrooms get a flour-egg-panko coat with oregano and garlic powder, then air fry until golden. A quick sour cream dip with chives and lemon finishes the plate.

Wipe clean with a damp towel instead of soaking in water. Wet mushrooms steam and soften the crumb coat.
Mushrooms are smooth. Press panko firmly so the coating sticks through the flip.
A light olive oil drizzle before cooking is what browns panko in the air fryer. Without it the crust stays pale.

Season flour with salt and pepper in one bowl. Beat eggs in a second bowl. Mix panko with garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper in a third.
Coat each mushroom in flour, then egg, then panko, pressing so the crumbs adhere.

Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (199°C). Arrange mushrooms in a single layer and drizzle with olive oil.

Air fry 10 minutes. Flip and cook 3-5 minutes more until crisp and deep gold.
Stir sour cream, chives, lemon juice and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper. Serve mushrooms hot with the dip.
